Singapore is the smallest country in South East Asia....
Singapore is a clean and green city....
Singapore is very modern....
Singapore has a multi-cultural city....

Yap. IT IS SINGAPORE.

But now, i don't wanna talk about government, history, citizen or education ...

I just wanna sharing all the things about places you should visit in Singapore...

During my time in Singapore, I absolutely loved some of the outdoor life there. What is often missed out in the narrative of a capitalist city-state full of businessmen, bankers, managers and entrepreneurs is that it has some beautiful lung spaces even in the heart of the city. It is amazing how the huge sky scrapers blend in with the greener parts of the city. They also have a huge amount of borrowed culture from various parts of the region and from western influences.

The local transportation MRT and Bus helped you alot. It's cool, clean, safe, and reliable, providing service around the central parts of the city and extending into the suburbs around the island. (Menunggu endonesia maju sejahtera dengan transportasi lokalnya? Lalu di tanya kapan? -- Aspirasi Rakyat Pengguna Angkutan Umum)

The most i like, when the workers went home, They still looks fresh and clean like they're going to office. (Beda banget kalo ye di endonesia, pulang kerja udah pada kucel kucel, bau keringet, muka kusem-- Pengalaman Pribadi).

The favourite past times of the local people are shopping and dining at all hours. The island is so well-lighted and busy with shoppers and diners after dark, it is very safe to walk in the streets at night. Singapore is a shoppers' paradise with great shopping deals everywhere, you can find fashion items ranging from small store bargains to luxurious branded merchandise.

You will not go hungry in this food-crazed country. You can find restaurants, cafes, foodcourts and hawker food stalls everywhere. Many food stalls open 24 hours and you can find a darn good place to eat at 3.00am in the morning. (Ya gak enaknya sih kalo minim budget, gak se-seru makan di warteg dan warung pinggir jalan seharga 15 ribu sudah kenyang sepuasnya)

This is my TOP 10 PLACES i think, you should definitely visit when you travel to Singapore – even if you’re only spending a couple of days there!

1. SENTOSA ISLAND

Who don't know Sentosa Island? Sentosa Island is was the perfect place for us to unwind after a few days in the bustling city. I arrived in the most scenic way – via cable car – and headed straight to the beaches. Sentosa Island has a stretch of sheltered beaches of more than two kilometres in length on its southern coast, framed with palm trees, with wide beachfronts and soft sands, divided into three portions: Palawan Beach, Siloso Beach, and Tanjong Beach. These beaches are artificial, reclaimed using sand bought from Indonesia and Malaysia. (Kasian kan? Pasir ajj beli).

Sentosa Island is also the place where you find the southernmost spot on continental South East Asia, and you find enough entertainment here to keep you busy for a couple of days, including Universal Studios, Butterfly World, Underwater World and a Dolphinarium, a Sky Tower and an Adventure Park, to name just a few. You can also get here on the MRT train and can get around the island by bus.

2. MARINA BAY SANDS

Marina is a magnificent building an integrated resort fronting Marina Bay that offers a luxury 2,561-room hotel, an art convention and exhibition center, the Shoppes Mall, an Art & Science museum, two Sands Theatres, seven “celebrity chef” restaurants, two floating pavilions, a nightclub, lounges and a casino with 500 tables and 1,600 slot machines.

The Marina Bay Sands SkyPark Observation Deck was officially opened to the public in June 2010. With 12,400 square meters of space, it can host up to 3,900 people. From this privileged observation deck, visitors can have an unforgettable 360-degree view of Singapore skyline, since there is no glass to obstruct the panorama. IMHO, Before you buy ticket to Sands Skypark Observation Deck, you should check it'll be sunny, cloudy, or rainy. (Pengalaman menyedihkan ane), ketika kesana hujan deras menderu deru)

3. MERLION PARK

You’ve probably seen images of Singapore’s national icon, the mythical Merlion with the head of a lion and the body of a fish. YAP. IT IS Merlion. It's name combines “mer” meaning the sea and “lion”. The “Singa” or lion head represents Singapore’s original name — Singapura — meaning “lion city”, and the fish is a tribute to Singapore’s history as “Temasek”, the ancient fishing village. This icon is a ‘must-see’ for tourists visiting Singapore, similar to other significant landmarks around the world. IMHO, You may need prepare your own umbrella. It was very hot with sun right up above your head. There are also huge amount of tourists. You should visit the Merlion at night...Much better. (Tempat yang dikatakan mudah untuk dicari, saya nyariinya hampir setengah jam sendiri)

4. GARDENS BY THE BAY

Gardens by the Bay is a surreal green oasis in the heart of Singapore that offers an easy getaway from the city centre traffic and skyscrapers. This horticultural heaven brings plants to life in a way you have never seen before. There you are surrounded by nature whilst feeling like you have stepped into the Avatar movie. This huge, colorful, futuristic park is famous for its high-tech Supertree Grove – a collection of magical giant trees – as well as Cloud Forest and Flower Dome (If you like a garden wit full of flowers blossom, you should go to this place ! ) – the world’s largest climate-controlled greenhouses. The garden complex is also home to several outdoor gardens and lakes, such as the scenic Dragonfly & Kingfisher Lakes. IMHO, I recommend to come afternoon and night, because when night falls, be enchanted as the vertical gardens come alive with a mesmerising Garden Rhapsody light and sound show. (Don't miss it) It making you feel like you are in a modern fairy-tale.

5. HENDERSON WAVES BRIDGE

This activity is only for those who love walking! The Southern Ridges Walk connects Mount Faber Park, Labrador Nature Reserve, Telok Blangah Hill Park, HortPark, and Kent Ridge Park into a 10 kilometres stretch of greenery! The Southern Ridges walk also provide the best spots to get a bird’s-eye view of Singapore’s city lights (though I recommend walking the whole stretch when there’s daylight). Be sure to walk through Henderson Waves (connecting Mount Faber Park to Telok Blangah Hill Park), a wave-like structure 36 metres above ground, making it the highest pedestrian bridge in Singapore!

6. CLARKE QUAY

After enjoying the number of attractions of Singapore during the day, you must head to Clarke Quay, one of the best places in Singapore to enjoy food. Clark Quay features a number of cafes, food kiosks, restaurants where you can have a taste of the best of Singapore and western delicacies. (Yah yang suka clubbing, karaoke, joget mak lampir atau goyang patah patah bisa deh kesini)

7. SINGAPORE BOTANIC GARDEN

If you wanna relax your mind from stresses or need to take a walk to sort your thoughts. The botanical gardens is your choice. There's lots of greenery and you don't hear the sound of the traffic. There are a few nice spots where you can have a coffee or if you need a refreshment. IMHO, Best times to visit would be in the mornings before it gets too hot, or late afternoons before the sun sets. I wouldn't recommend this on Sundays though. It gets really really crowded, I'm not sure if there was an event or some concert or something but it was just crowded!

8. MASJID SULTAN (SULTAN MOSQUE)

The area was allocated by Stamford Raffles for Sultan Hussein of Singapore, where the first Sultan’s Mosque was built about 1824. The construction of the present Mosque begun in 1925 and was completed by the end of 1928. The Mosque itself is very impressive with its gold dome and beige walls with light brown trim. This is a beautiful Mosque in an interesting and historical part of Singapore. I think this is one of the most famous mosque in Singapore.

9. BUDHA TOOTH RELIC TEMPLE AND MUSEUM

The Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum is a four-storey Buddhist temple and museum complex that rises up at the heart of the Chinatown district in Singapore. The temple is based on the Tang dynasty architectural style and built to house the tooth relic of the historical Buddha, which is claimed that was found in 1980 in a collapsed stupa in Myanmar. If you like a traditional chinese architecture and buddhist place, don't miss this place. It is a really interesting and suggestive place to visit. You can see the internal disposition of Buddha statues that unreach the temple and try to understand a taste of spirituality.

10. MACRITCHIE RESERVOIR PARK

MacRitchie Nature Trail is an amazing thing you really should do while in Singapore. MacRitchie Reservoir is a very nice natural destination to time to escape on weekend or even holiday. The good trip for people who want to get some nature. You escape the busy city and head into jungle , walking under rainforest trees and beside a blue shining water reservoir. The tree top walk will give you the possibility to see the rainforest from above, which is a great experience!
